Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
Centiqs provides point-of-sale, ordering and restaurant-management software. This policy explains how information is handled when restaurants and their authorized staff use Centiqs or connect third-party delivery services.
Information we process
Depending on the services a restaurant enables, Centiqs may process:
- Restaurant account and authorized-user information, including names, business contact details, roles and authentication records.
- Restaurant and store information, including location identifiers, addresses, hours, operational settings and integration status.
- Menus, categories, items, modifiers, prices, availability, taxes and related catalog data.
- Customer order information supplied by the restaurant or an ordering platform, including order identifiers, items, notes, totals, status and timestamps.
- Delivery and fulfilment information, such as delivery or pickup instructions, courier status and estimated preparation times.
- Integration information, including provider and store identifiers, granted scopes, token-expiry metadata and encrypted integration credentials.
- Support requests, security events, audit records and limited technical diagnostics.
Third-party delivery platforms
When a restaurant authorizes an integration, Centiqs may receive information from independent third-party services such as Uber Eats. The third party controls its own collection and use of information under its privacy terms. Centiqs processes received information to provide the restaurant’s requested integration.
How information is used
We use information to process and route orders; synchronize menus, prices, hours and availability; update order and fulfilment status; provide customer support; protect accounts and integrations; investigate failures; maintain audit records; and improve service reliability and usability.
Access and disclosure
Access is limited to authorized restaurant users, authorized Centiqs personnel and service providers who need the information to operate or support the service. Information may be disclosed when directed by the restaurant, required to operate an enabled integration, required by law, or necessary to protect users, the service or others. Centiqs does not sell customer order information.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legitimate security and audit needs, resolve disputes and satisfy applicable contractual or legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and restaurant configuration. Restaurants may request deletion or account closure by contacting [email protected]. We may need to verify the requester’s authority, and some records may be retained where deletion is not reasonably possible or is subject to an outstanding obligation.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access, including encrypted transport, access controls, audit records and encryption of supported integration credentials at rest. No system can guarantee absolute security. Restaurants are responsible for protecting their accounts, devices and authorized-user access.
International and service-provider processing
Centiqs and its infrastructure or service providers may process information in jurisdictions different from the restaurant or customer. Protection and disclosure requirements may therefore differ by location.
Your choices and requests
Restaurants can manage authorized users and enabled integrations through their administrative tools. For access, correction, deletion, integration-disconnection or privacy questions, contact [email protected] and identify the restaurant and location concerned.
Changes
We may revise this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the current published version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service channel when practical.
